Year 7 and 8 Excellence Academy visit SciFest!
Years 7 and 8 Excellence Academy went to SciFest! – an annual event hosted by the University of Wolverhampton. They got to programme robots, engineer catapults, become forensic investigators and learn about The Ugly Animal Society! They even got to meet a few sci-fi characters who dropped in for a visit! The experience has helped enhance their appreciation for STEM subjects and their application in the working world as well as inspire those who weren’t sure to study beyond A Levels and go to university
