Welcome to the STEM Society
STEM:
STEM is the interdisciplinary and applied approach to teaching Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. STEM opportunities at 六合彩论坛 allow students to develop the necessary knowledge and skills that an ever-increasing amount of careers and jobs require in modern society. Over 80% of new jobs created in Wolverhampton last year require STEM and the national figure shows a similarly high trend year on year. STEM is for everybody! As a school we offer:
- An incorporated STEM curriculum whereby STEM is embedded through subjects across the school
- A weekly STEM Club
- STEM challenges several times a year, including a celebratory 2 week period during National Science Week
- STEM-related visits and trips
- Opportunities to enter national competitions such as Computer Games Development (winners 2022), LEGO Robot League (Regional champions 2022) and Raspberry Pi Programming to name a few
- Online challenges to achieve school STEM Awards – Bronze, Silver and Gold
- Mentoring and support from established STEM Ambassadors
